I through this look together last minute for a halloween party and it ended up turning out really cute! Its amazing what you can find in your own closet! I didn't have everything for the typical "flapper girl" but you could definitely tell what I was :). 

The dress I have had for years and have just never worn it. Last night was the perfect chance it put it to use! The pearl necklace I have also had for years, and actually made them myself. You can find pearl beads at almost any arts and crafts store. I paired the dress with some lace leggings (that were pretty itchy lol) threw on some black heals and called it a night!

If your looking for a makeup class to take, but not sure where to look, check out the Out of the Beauty Box Tour presented and taught by Koren (Enkoremakup) and Elissa (pursebuzz). They offer professional makeup classes for Bridal and Airbrush and also offer seminars to learn how to market yourself as a makeup artist. The cost of the classes by far out way the knowledge and goodies that you receive to get you on the path of makeup artistry. I completed both the bridal and airbrush classes!

I had so much fun at this event! It was great being surrounded by people who have the same passion for all things beauty! It was held at the Bellus Academy in Poway, Ca, which is known as the Harvard of beauty schools. And i must say after taking a tour of the school, I can see where they get that from :). The school was so generous and had so many things to do to pamper yourself. Everything from deep hair treatments, massages, facials, manicures, and so much more! I unfortunately did not have time to receive any treatments, but I still enjoyed all the excitement  going on :)
